HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Cypress-Fairbanks ISD is notifying the public that it is holding a full-scale safety exercise on Wednesday at Rowe Middle School and the Berry Center.

The exercise, in collaboration with the Cy-Fair ISD Police Department and other local first responders, will test the district and public safety partners’ response to an active campus threat.
The exercise is known as the Response to Emergent Active Threat Crisis & Tactical Reunification (REACT-R) exercise. It focuses on emergency procedures, interagency coordination and student reunification.
“Community members can expect a significant law enforcement presence at both Rowe Middle School and the Berry Center throughout the day on June 3. This presence is for a simulated exercise only; citizens are asked to remain off the property and do not need to alert authorities,” the district said.
