Police announced Sunday evening that two suspects are now in custody, while a third suspect remains at large in the Manor area northeast of Austin.

During an earlier briefing, Kirk Watson said investigators had not identified a motive and described the shootings as random in nature.

“These actions appear to be random,” Watson said. “This is an active, ongoing investigation.”

APD Chief Lisa Davis said four people were shot during the incidents. One victim suffered serious injuries, while three others sustained minor injuries.

Investigators previously said the suspects were believed to be switching between multiple stolen vehicles, including a black or dark blue Hyundai, a gold Hyundai sedan, a silver Mazda CX-5 and a white Kia Optima.

Police have not yet released additional details about the suspects in custody or the suspect still being sought in Manor.

Authorities say more information will be released as the investigation continues.
