11-year-old girl riding bicycle to school in Clute dies after colliding with pickup truck The driver stopped and attempted to render aid, but the girl died from her injuries

CLUTE, Texas – Police in Clute said a 11-year-old girl riding her bike to school died after colliding with a pickup truck Thursday morning.
It happened in front of Clute Intermediate School. Police were called at 7:20 a.m.
Police say the girl was riding her bike to the school when she collided with a GMC Sierra pickup truck exiting the school parking lot.
The driver immediately stopped and attempted to render aid, but police say the girl succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
Multiple agencies investigated the accident, including the Clute Police Department, Lake Jackson Police Department, Lake Jackson Fire Marshal’s Office, and the Brazosport ISD Police Department.
