Man airlifted after shooting, carjacking in NE Harris County, sheriff’s office says

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a reported carjacking in the 14200 block of E. Sam Houston Parkway near Forest Acres Drive in northeast Harris County on Sunday morning, officials said.
Investigators said that when deputies arrived, they found an adult man suffering from gunshot wounds. The man was flown by Life Flight to a hospital. His condition was not immediately known.
HCSO detectives were en route to the scene to continue the investigation.
