A suspect has been arrested after a man was shot multiple times during an aggravated robbery in north Harris County, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office.
Deputies responded to an aggravated robbery in progress in the 12600 block of Kuykendahl Road.
When deputies arrived, they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Authorities said the victim was transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
Investigators said the victim was able to provide a description of the suspect, prompting deputies to immediately begin searching the area.
A suspect matching the description was quickly located and detained, according to officials.
During the investigation, deputies said the suspect was found with a handgun that appeared to have been recently fired, along with property belonging to the victim.
The suspect was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery with serious bodily injury and felon in possession of a firearm.
Authorities have not released the identities of the suspect or victim.
The investigation remains ongoing.
