2 adults, 2 children found dead in believed murder-suicide in River Oaks

HOUSTON – Houston police say two adults and two children were found dead after a shooting in what is believed to be a murder-suicide in River Oaks.

The discovery was made at a home in the 2100 block of Kingston Street.

Authorities say the four were found dead after a shooting at the location. All four are said to be family members.

Officials say a babysitter and a relative called police concerned after not hearing from the family.

Police were the only people to enter the home and officers were the ones who found the four dead inside.

A neighbor named Cindy said this is the first time anything like this has happened in the neighborhood.

“I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 19 years and never seen anything like this. We haven’t had these kind of tragedies. We don’t have robberies. We have incredible constables in this neighborhood, but it’s very sad. I just shake for the little kids,” Cindy said.

Police are still at the scene investigating and officials say the investigation is still in its early phases.
