PEARLAND, Texas – Move over, Anthony Yanez, there may be a new meteorologist in town.

A 10-year-old viewer is stealing hearts after delivering his own storm coverage during Friday morning’s severe weather. Reporting live from Pearland, and yes, still in his pajamas, Angel Maldonado gave a play-by-play as hail pounded his neighborhood.

Angel’s parents shared the adorable clip through Click2Pins, writing, “When a hail storm wakes your weather-loving son, what do you do? Let him report live in his PJs.”

And he didn’t miss a beat.

About 10 minutes into the storm, Angel described a “dense wave of hail” moving through his area, sounding every bit like a seasoned pro. He even made sure to look out for viewers, reminding everyone to stay safe and watch for slippery roads.

It’s the kind of wholesome moment that cuts through a stormy morning, and honestly, the confidence, the delivery, the dedication (pajamas and all), it’s giving future broadcaster energy.

Who knows? One day, you might just see Angel Maldonado delivering the forecast on your TV screen.
