A shooting at an apartment complex in northwest Harris County left one woman dead and another injured on Sunday morning, according to Precinct 4 deputies. (Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office)
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – An investigation is underway at a shooting scene in northwest Harris County that left one woman dead and another injured, authorities said.
An image shared by the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office shows deputies responding to an apartment complex in the 12655 block of Kuykendahl Road on Sunday morning.
Arriving deputies said they found two female victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said both victims were taken to a hospital. One woman died from her injuries and the other was said to be in fair condition.
Homicide investigators are taking over the scene. Authorities have not released information on a suspect, or suspects, at this time.
Investigators are asking the public to avoid the area while deputies and first responders continue their work.
