Search for driver who hit, killed man walking along Tomball Parkway

HOUSTON – Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office are searching for the driver who ran over a man on Tomball Parkway Thursday night, killing him.

Deputies responded to reports of a man down near Tomball Parkway and Grant Road around 7:55 p.m.

When deputies arrived, they found an unresponsive man in the roadway. Witnesses told deputies that a driver hit the man in a Chevy Express box truck.

According to reports, the man was walking along the median when the vehicle struck him. Deputies said the man appears to be in his 30s.
