HOUSTON – Two people have been hospitalized after a shooting inside a Houston nightclub on Wednesday night.
Houston police responded to Confessions nightclub, located at 3200 Kirby Drive, around 11:30 p.m. According to reports, investigators said the shooting started as an attempted robbery.
When officers arrived, they found two men shot. One man in his late 20s was shot multiple times in his torso, and the second man, in his mid-20s, was shot in his arms and legs. Both men have since been transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Investigators said a group of men got into an altercation over a chain, and someone pulled out a gun, shooting the two men.
Police said about 20 or 30 people were inside the club at the time of the shooting.
