HOUSTON â Two people in the Houston area are $1 million richer!
The Texas Lottery says two separate scratch-off tickets were claimed with a prize of $1,000,000 each.

One winning ticket was claimed by a Kingwood resident who played the Mega Millionaire scratch-off game. The ticket was purchased at Kingwood Mart, located at 4003 Rustic Woods Drive in Houston. The winner chose to remain anonymous.
The Texas Lottery says this was the first of four top prizes worth $1 million available in the Mega Millionaire game.
The game offers more than $91 million in total prizes, with overall odds of winning any prize at about 1 in 3.84.
Another $1 million scratch-off prize was claimed by a Hempstead resident who played the $1,000,000 Riches game. That winning ticket was purchased at Fuel Maxx #60, located at 45620 Highway 290 Bus. in Prairie View. The winner also elected to remain anonymous.
Lottery officials say that prize marked the first of four $1 million top prizes in the $1,000,000 Riches game. The game offers more than $57.2 million in total prizes, with odds of winning any prize at about 1 in 3.82.
Retailers that sell top prize-winning tickets may be eligible for a $10,000 bonus through the Texas Lotteryâs retailer bonus program.
