HOUSTON – Visitors heading to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on Wednesday can enjoy big savings as part of the event’s annual Community Day, which offers free entry and discounted attractions for guests looking to experience the rodeo without spending as much.
All visitors can enter NRG Park for free until noon, giving families, students and rodeo fans a chance to explore the grounds, livestock exhibits and carnival before the usual admission fees kick in.
The savings don’t stop at the gate.
Throughout the day, guests can also take advantage of discounted rides, games and food in the Junction Carnival, helping stretch budgets for those planning a full day at the rodeo.
Organizers are also offering buy-one-get-one deals on rides and games until 4 p.m., making it easier for families with children to enjoy the carnival attractions without the usual price tag.
Community Day is held each year on the middle Wednesday of the rodeo, bringing the same popular discounts offered during Family Wednesdays.
Rodeo organizers say the event is meant to make the Houston tradition more accessible for the community, especially for families who may otherwise find the cost of admission, rides and food adding up quickly.
Guests are encouraged to download the Houston Rodeo app for updates, schedules and information about deals happening throughout the park.
With free admission until noon and discounts across the carnival, Wednesday is one of the most budget-friendly days to experience the rodeo.
