HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A man has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting outside a convenience store in northwest Harris County on Friday.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the suspect, Albert Williams, 34, is charged with murder. He is accused of fatally shooting Glenn Gray, 49, outside a convenience store in the 11900 block of Bammel North Houston Road on Friday morning.
Deputies attempted to save the victim, but he ultimately died from his injuries in the parking lot.
While at the scene, deputies received reports of a man arriving at a hospital with gunshot wounds. Deputies arrived and found Williams who allegedly admitted to law enforcement that he shot Gray during a verbal confrontation.
Williams was arrested without incident and booked into the Harris County Jail.
Court records show he is due for a preliminary appearance on Monday.
