Car crash involving train reported in Sugar Land

SUGAR LAND, Texas – A train was involved in a crash with a vehicle Tuesday afternoon in Sugar Land, according to the police department.

The crash was reported at 5:09 p.m. at the intersection of US-90/ Industrial Boulevard and US-90/Dairy Ashford Road, closing the roads both ways.

Sugar Land police said there were no injuries in the minor incident.

The intersections will remain closed until a full inspection is complete and the train can clear the area.
