Two teens shot at Houston park

HOUSTON – Houston police detectives are investigating a shooting that sent a 14-year-old and 17-year-old to the hospital.

It happened around 6:30pm this evening at Zollie Scales Park along Dreyfus Street in South Side Houston.

Investigators tell us two or three suspects approached the teens while they were playing basketball and tried to sell them marijuana.

At least two of the suspects fire shots that hit one boy in the hand and the other in the leg.

Both victims were transported to the hospital and are expected to recover.

Police are looking to the for the suspects who took off in a white Nissan.
