Increased police presence expected at Klein Collins HS after online threat reported

Students at Klein Collins High School will see more police officers on campus this week as the district responds to a social media threat.

Klein ISD officials sent a message to families alerting them to a post that circulated over the weekend mentioning a potential act of violence.

While investigators have determined there is currently no evidence to support the threat, the district is not taking any chances.

“Out of an abundance of caution, an increased police presence will be on campus this week to ensure a safe and secure learning environment,” the administration wrote.
