Hazmat spill closes 610 West exit after 18-wheeler overturns on Eastex Freeway

HOUSTON – An overturned 18-wheeler has shut down the exit ramp on the Eastex Freeway and westbound lanes on 610.

The crash was reported at 9:41 a.m. and has caused a hazmat spill.

No injuries have been reported.

Traffic is being diverted as 610 westbound lanes are completely shut down.

The cause of the crash is unknown.
