Cleveland ISD teacher charged after being accused of having improper relationship with student

CLEVELAND, Texas – A Cleveland Independent School District teacher is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a fellow student, according to the school district.
The teacher was charged with an improper student-educator relationship. The teacher’s identity has not been released by the district.
District officials said they recently became aware of the allegations and reported the allegations to the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office
Due to student privacy laws and the ongoing investigation, Cleveland ISD says it is limited in the details it can share at this time.
The district encourages anyone with information or concerns related to this matter to contact law enforcement directly.
