A man was arrested after a shooting and a two-hour standoff in northwest Houston. (Copyright 2025 by KPRC Click2Houston - All rights reserved.)HOUSTON – A man was arrested after a shooting and a two-hour standoff in Northwest Houston.
Police said it started when two former neighbors got into an argument on Blankenship Drive and Bingle Road at about 1 a.m. Sunday.
One of them was picking up his belongings, when the other man shot him in the leg.
The victim was expected to recover.
After the shooting, police said the suspected shooter went inside the home and refused to comply with officers.
He eventually came out and was taken into custody at about 3 a.m. Sunday.
