Bicyclist killed in overnight crash at Houston intersection

HOUSTON – A bicyclist is dead following an overnight crash at the intersection on North Wayside Drive and Market Street, authorities say.

Houston Police said on Tuesday night, a bicyclist going westbound on Market Street was struck by a vehicle going northbound on Wayside Drive.

Police said the driver had a green light.

The bicyclist, who police believe to be in his mid-40s, died from his injuries sustained in the crash.

Police said they do not suspect impairment.
