Authorities seek suspect in fatal W. Harris County hit-and-run

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help identifying the suspect or suspects responsible for a fatal hit-and-run in November that took the life of a 34-year-old man.

The collision happened on Saturday, November 22 at approximately 11:55 p.m. in the 6600 block of Addicks Satsuma Road.

Authorities say the victim, Jose Escobar-Ferix, 34, was walking northbound along the right side of the roadway when he was struck by a vehicle, described as a dark-colored Dodge Charger or Dodge Challenger. The vehicle fled the scene northbound on Addicks Satsuma without stopping to render aid.

Escobar-Ferix died from his injuries.

Anyone with information regarding the location of the suspect vehicle or the identity of the driver is urged to come forward.
