KATY, Texas – Authorities say a wanted man died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after law enforcement breached the door of a home in the Katy-area while executing a warrant.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says it happened in the 2000 block of Edendale Circle.
According to the sheriff’s office, members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force were at the home to execute a warrant.

As officers breached the door of the home, they heard a gunshot and found the man with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
