Investigation underway after man found dead in shed fire in north Houston

HOUSTON, Texas – A man was found dead during a fire inside a shed in north Houston on Wednesday night.

Firefighters with the Westfield Fire Department responded to reports of a fire at a home located at 5106 Collins Street around 11:00 p.m.

Firefighters say that while extinguishing the fire, they found a man dead inside the shed.

The man’s cause of death has not been released, but firefighters say the believed he died as a result of the fire.
