Large amount of blood found in dumpster in Houston’s Greenspoint area

HOUSTON – Editor’s Note: At the scene, Houston Police said it was a fetus that was found in the dumpster. They have corrected and now said it was a large amount of blood. The story has been updated to reflect the change.
Houston police are investigating after a large amount of blood was found in a dumpster in the Greenspoint area Wednesday.
Police said the discovery was made at 396 W. Greens Road, just off the North Freeway. Police were called at 11:35 a.m.
HPD’s Homicide Division is investigating the incident.
No other details are available at this time.
