Multiple northbound lanes of I-69 closed at Bissonnet due to hazmat spill caused by earlier truck crash

HOUSTON – Multiple northbound lanes of I-69, the Southwest Freeway, are closed after a hazmat spill caused by an earlier heavy truck crash.
Right now, it is unclear what the hazardous material is, but traffic is moving very slowly in the area.
TxDOT in en route for clean-up.
Authorities urge the public to avoid the area if possible and find an alternate route.
