Mother charged after being found intoxicated on sidewalk holding 3-month-old child

HOUSTON – A woman has been charged after police say they found her asleep on the ground while holding her 3-month-old child.

Danielle Nicole Jenson, 36, has since been charged with endangering a child.

According to court documents, Jenson was found intoxicated on Thanksgiving after taking her 3-month-old child outside in 47-degree weather without the proper clothing.

Jenson then fell asleep on the ground with the child in her arms. The baby has since been taken to the hospital and is in CPS custody.

Jenson is now out on bond. She has a court hearing on Monday.
