Pedestrian struck, killed by vehicle in Channelview

CHANNELVIEW, Texas – Authorities say a pedestrian is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Channelview Tuesday evening.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said it happened in the 15900 block of Ridlon Avenue around 7:18 p.m.
Details on the crash are limited, but the pedestrian was confirmed dead.
Authorities say the driver stayed at the scene.
