WALLER, Texas – Authorities say the eastbound lanes of US-290 is closed in Waller after an 18-wheeler rolled over and caused a gas leak.
The Waller County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened at FM 362 in Waller.
Hazmat has responded to the scene for the gas leak.
The highway was shut down in both directions earlier, but the westbound lanes have reopened, according to Houston Transtar.
Avoid the area and seek an alternate route.
