Shots fired as law enforcement pursuit ends in N. Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A pursuit of a suspect in north Harris County ended with deputies firing gunshots and the suspect hospitalized for a dog bite.

The chase ended near Spring Stuebner and Gosling Road.

The Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office says during the pursuit, a Texas DPS trooper performed a pit maneuver on the suspect’s vehicle.

A constable deputy discharged his weapon when the suspect continued driving toward the deputies, but the suspect was not hit.

A Precinct 4 K9 assisted deputies, who were able to get the suspect into custody.

The suspect was taken to a hospital for a dog bite.

No deputies were injured.

The Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office says the suspect has been charged with aggravated assault on a peace officer and felony evading.
