Remembering Jocelyn Nungaray: Memorial for slain 12-year-old unveiled at Cypress Top Historic Park
HOUSTON – More than a year after the death of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray , community leaders and her family came together to honor her with a new memorial in northwest Harris County.

Crime Stoppers of Houston , Harris County Precinct 3 Commissioner Tom Ramsey , and Jocelyn’s family gathered Tuesday morning at Cypress Top Historic Park for the unveiling.
The memorial, which includes a bench and tree, is intended to provide a place of reflection and serve as a symbol of hope, healing, and solidarity for families impacted by violent crime.
