HOUSTON – More than a year after the death of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray, community leaders and her family came together to honor her with a new memorial in northwest Harris County.
Crime Stoppers of Houston, Harris County Precinct 3 Commissioner Tom Ramsey, and Jocelyn’s family gathered Tuesday morning at Cypress Top Historic Park for the unveiling.
The memorial, which includes a bench and tree, is intended to provide a place of reflection and serve as a symbol of hope, healing, and solidarity for families impacted by violent crime.
