Crash (Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4)
A METROLift vehicle overturned Monday morning after swerving to avoid a stalled car on the North Sam Houston Parkway feeder road near Veterans Memorial Drive, according to METRO officials.
Both the operator and one passenger inside the vehicle were able to get out and were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The stalled vehicle was struck on the rear passenger side during the incident. Its driver also suffered a leg injury that was described as non-life-threatening and was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
The crash caused heavy traffic delays as emergency crews worked at the scene. The METRO Police Department and Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office assisted with traffic control and clearing the roadway.
The crash happened in the 2700 block of the North Sam Houston Parkway West feeder road before Veterans Memorial Drive. This remains an active investigation.
