The event, set for Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11 a.m. in the Lonal Robinson Conference Room at 1520 Isabella Street.

Participants will learn:

  • Why investors tear down homes so quickly.
  • How the City of Houston Permitting Departments play a role.
  • The tactics investors use to steal land.
  • Step-by-step instructions on what to do if your property is stolen or demolished.

The workshop is presented by Vee Decatur of Land and Title Justice, who calls title theft a pressing crime:

“It is a current crime with real victims who may not have the means to fight back,” Decatur said in the Facebook post. “We must take a stand now, before another block is wiped out.”
