3-year-old dies after being found in pool at west Harris County home

HOUSTON – A 3-year-old has died after being found in a pool in west Harris County Friday.

The incident was reported in the 3300 block of Mulberry Hill Lane.

Officials said the mother found the child, and EMS responded to the scene while they waited for Life Flight to arrive.

Authorities later confirmed the child died.
