Video footage reviewed in West Houston shooting investigation

A shooting in west Houston sent one man to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries Thursday night, Houston police said.
HPD investigators said the incident happened around 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Briar Forest Drive and Brentworth Drive. Authorities say two groups got into an argument at an apartment complex, which escalated into an exchange of gunfire.
A man was struck in the head and transported by ambulance. It is unclear if he was involved in the altercation or was a bystander.
Police are reviewing video footage and actively searching for the suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
