Fort Bend County Pride Festival returns with superhero theme, celebrating love and diversity

ROSENBERG, Texas – The second annual Fort Bend County Pride Festival kicks off this weekend in Rosenberg. Organizers say not only is it a celebration of love, diversity, and unity, but it is also a movement for the LGBTQ+ community.

The push for representation, which organizers say was not always historically welcome or celebrated in Fort Bend County. This year’s theme is comic-book inspired: The superheroes of pride!

Where folks are encouraged to dress up as their favorite superhero to celebrate the strength, courage, and empowerment of the LGBTQ+ community. They do have a few more slots for vendors, sponsorships, and volunteers.

The festival kicks off this Sunday, August 10, at the Fort Bend County fairgrounds from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m.

They have a kids zone, a sensory-friendly zone, and a senior zone…everyone is invited to join in and celebrate.
