Woman transported to hospital by helicopter after being attacked by dogs

A woman was seriously injured after being attacked by dogs in northwest Harris County.

The 52-year-old sustained serious injuries and was transported by Lifeflight to a hospital for treatment.

The attack happened near the 9200 block of Mills Road, FM-1960 West and Highway 249.

A hospital representative called the injuries life threatening.

Detectives with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office are actively investigating the incident and seeking additional information from the public. They are also checking fields around the area for possible homeless encampments.
