HOUSTON – A very large honeybee colony that has taken up residence in a tree in Downtown Houston will be removed Monday evening after people were reportedly stung on their way to Daikin Park Sunday.

Texas Bee Removal says they will be removing the colony and all the bees alive Monday evening around 7 p.m.
The colony is in a tree at the corner of Preston Street and Austin Street in downtown.
Texas Bee Removal says the colony has become a danger to people parking, going to Astros games, using the bike lane, or walking on the sidewalk.
