Kerrville-based jewelry company James Avery Artisan Jewelry is giving back to the Hill Country community after the area faced catastrophic flooding.
Monday night, the company announced on Facebook that it would be donating 100% of its proceeds from its “Deep in the Heart of Texas” charm to relief efforts in the area.

Additionally, the company announced it has pledged $1 million to support the urgent needs in the Kerrville area.
“To all those affected, we send our love, strength, and heartfelt prayers. And to the first responders and neighbors who have stepped in with open hands and open hearts, we offer our deepest gratitude,” a portion of the post on the James Avery Facebook account read.
Since the announcement, the jewelry company is now taking backorders as its Heart of Texas Charms have sold out faster than expected.
In an updated post, the company stated, “We’re now taking backorders and remain committed to donating proceeds from both the sterling silver and 14K gold charms ordered through August 4. Our facilities in the Hill Country reopened today, and we’ve begun crafting more charms. It may take up to six weeks or longer to fulfill all orders.
“Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support.”
