Haunting photos show aftermath of deadly flooding in Central Texas

With more rain on the way, the risk of life-threatening flooding was still high in central Texas on Monday, even as crews continue searching urgently for missing individuals over the holiday weekend.

Officials said the death toll was sure to rise after Monday morning reports tallied more than 80 lives lost.

The photos below share a sobering look at the aftermath as questions remain whether there were enough warnings issued or precautions taken in the area, which was known notoriously for flooding.
