CHAMBERS COUNTY, Texas – A man has been arrested, accused of shooting and killing his son-in-law in Chambers County on Tuesday.
The Chambers County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called at around 9:35 p.m. to a home in Old River-Winfree.

Deputies, along with officers with the Mont Belvieu Police Department, arrived on scene minutes after the shooting and took the suspect, identified as David Snapp into custody.
Life-saving attempts were made on the victim. identified as Brian Yarbrough. Yarbrough was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The sheriff’s office confirmed Snapp is Yarbrough’s father-in-law. He has been charged with murder and was booked into the Chambers County Jail. His bond has been set at $500,000.
