1 hospitalized after shooting at Burnett Bayland Soccer Field in SW Houston

HOUSTON – Authorities are trying to figure out what led up to a shooting at Burnett Bayland Park late Sunday afternoon.

Details are limited due to how active the investigation is, but according to Houston police, a person was shot at the soccer field on Chimney Rock a little before 4:45 p.m.
The unidentified individual was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No additional information has been shared, so it’s unclear if any arrests have been made.
