Infant dead after multi-vehicle crash on Cook Road in Alief

HOUSTON – Houston Police say an infant was killed in a crash in the Alief-area Wednesday evening.
LATEST: DWI driver arrested in connection with multi-vehicle crash that claimed baby’s life in Alief
Authorities say the crash involved three vehicles and happened at 7699 Cook Road, between Bellaire and Beechnut.
Police say they have no other reports of injuries in the crash.
Police say the infant was less than a year old. They are looking into whether the infant’s car seat was properly secured.
