Prairie View A&M University is mourning the loss of football player Jackson “Jacks” Bailey, a beloved teammate and member of the Panther family.
The university confirmed Bailey’s passing in a heartfelt message, describing him as a member of the PVAMU Panther football team and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. (Zeta Beta Chapter)
Affectionately known as “Jacks,” he was remembered for his bright spirit, sharp football IQ, and hidden talent on the piano. Friends say he loved wings, Christmas, and being close to family, and often lived by the words, “God got me.”
The university also said Bailey dreamed of one day playing in the NFL or becoming a physical therapist.
