A Houston-area man has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a woman more than a dozen times and dragging her across the ground.
On Sunday afternoon, deputy constables with Harris County Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to an apartment complex in the 20500 block of Cypresswood Drive after a weapon’s disturbance was reported.

There, witnesses said they saw a man stabbing a woman repeatedly and dragging her into a unit.
Deputies quickly located the victim, who had been stabbed on her neck, face, and arms. Officials counted 35 total stab wounds, and the woman was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
Elijah Glenn, 20, was identified as the suspect in the attack. He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is currently awaiting bond at Harris County Jail.
