HOUSTON – Authorities are trying to figure out how a man ended up on the train tracks in southeast Houston Tuesday night.

It happened a little after 9:15 p.m. when officers found an unidentified man, between 50-60 years old, on the train tracks on Galveston Road near the Gulf Freeway.

However, it’s unclear if the man was sitting on the tracks when the train hit him and dragged him about 300 feet.
