Drivers on the Grand Parkway are facing major delays after an 18-wheeler overturned and spilled hazardous materials Thursday morning.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened in the southbound lanes of SH-99 near West Road. Deputies arrived to find the 18-wheeler overturned, blocking multiple lanes of traffic.
As of 10 a.m. Emergency crews are on site managing a hazardous materials spill from the truck.
No injuries have been reported, but drivers are urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
