Fatal crash closes lanes of I-45 at Cypresswood in north Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Several northbound lanes of I-45, the North Freeway, are closed after a fatal crash in north Harris County.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says the crash is near I-45 and Cypresswood Drive.
First responders are on the scene and an investigation is underway.
Authorities ask drivers to find an alternate route.
Three lanes remain closed and officials say drivers should either exit at FM 1960 or use the Hardy Toll Road.
