‘Operational issue’ at Baytown ExxonMobil plant leading to safety flaring

BAYTOWN, Texas – An operational issue at the ExxonMobil Baytown Olefins Plant is resulting in safety flaring.

The plant is located at 3525 Decker Drive.

Officials say personnel at the plant are working to return operations to normal as soon as possible.

ExxonMobil says there is no cause for community alarm and apologizes for any inconvenience the flaring may cause to neighbors.
