CYPRESS, Texas – Authorities are piecing together what led up to an apparent murder-suicide Saturday morning that claimed a mother and daughter’s life in Cypress.
Details are limited so it’s unclear how everything unfolded, but Sheriff Ed Gonzalez posted on X about the incident on Timber Crossing Lane near Barker Cypress.

That’s where two women were found dead, later described as a mother and daughter, who were 75 and 50 years old, respectively, lived at the home and were found dead by deputies in what preliminarily appears to be a murder-suicide.
