5-year-old girl whose disappearance prompted Amber Alert found safe

A 5-year-old girl whose disappearance prompted an Amber Alert Tuesday has been found safe.

An Amber Alert was issued for the child, who went missing on March 19 around 1:30 p.m. in the 13800 block of Bellaire Blvd in Houston.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has since said the child was found safe. No details were provided about how or where she was found.
